It was all dark here today,
The weather had gone for a toss this day,
Finishing my book this night, hoping for the electricity to remain tight,
There she came amidst this night, asked me how are you holding your sleep this wide.
Amazed to see her sparking eyes all over again,
Astonished and asked her when did she arrived here again,
She reminded me of old times, and waited for the perfect time,
Holding hands together gave me the relief of a comfortable gain.
I’ll love you through the winters, through summers, rains and fog,
I only want to be more us and more growing for you as my favorite job,
I am here again for you, she said; holding you and seeing the stars with your eyes,
Let me be with you for the whole night with the glittery eyes.
You said you love me, I want you to come in and to believe again,
Let me remind you of my previous pain and less comfortable gain,
I had trust, I had faith in us, I did fight for us, I did everything that could be us,
But, who knew, for her, this ‘us’ was just an unnecessary fuss.
She thought, she smiled and she gave a warm hug,
She didn’t want to lose me for an empty jug,
Sat with a glass of RUM this night,
Made sure, I was in her complete mind.
Asked me to not give a single thought on the fishy ones in the relationship,
They would only make no king out of a warship,
May whatever kingdom they carry, is solely in their gene(s) to betray,
To not think of these false types should be our first tray.
I laughed and thought whether in all of this, was I the only suspect,
With a peck on my lips, she said, let me make you all of this forget,
It’s very easy to forget a false person, she said with a strong gut;
I nod my head in agreement, keeping myself shut.
Wearing a face of true love, loyalty, and compassion isn’t easy,
For everyone in the universe to apply, she said.
For how long one will survive with the same traits,
Universe is there for them to reply with the same shades.
Let’s concentrate on our stars this night, she said, looking at my eyes,
For me that was a pure and comfortable delight,
She smiled and asked for a wish, seeing the star,
Draped in a blanket was the smiling moving star.
